Hello there, it’s been a while since our last blog as we have been busy over the winter months working on new products, new designs and preparing for the gifting season of 2026.
We just wanted to take a moment to let you know about a new development at the forge. We are collaborating…
For those who may have just found us, we are a family run forge established by Chris Danby in 2015 who found a passion for blacksmithing after an ‘experience’ day. Coach House Forge was created and as the business grew Chris’s wife, Amy joined the business full time in 2019 and the rest, as they say, is history. Now employing 6 full time team members and we can honestly say we have the best time working together.
From day one CHF was about creating unique artisan gifts, carefully handcrafted with passion and patience that would stand the test of time. Nothing mass produced, nothing throw-away.

As we have grown we have become established in the anniversary gifting sector selling wedding and anniversary gifts worldwide. And what a privilege it is to be chosen to create a gift for the most important celebrations. We never take it for granted.
We also make gifts for other milestone occasions and celebrations and we have been wanting to offer smaller items such as gift sets for a while with lots of ideas being passed back and forth.
We strongly believe in supporting independent businesses because it truly makes a difference. Independent brands are often built on passion, care, and a real commitment to quality. When you support them, you’re not just buying a product, you’re supporting people who have invested their time, creativity, and energy to make something wonderful.
We spent a LOT of time searching for a product that would work well for us. We were looking for a product that would complement ours but we were unwilling to compromise on our values and wanted to remain true to our ethos.
Having discovered Nantwich Candle Co on social media, a small independent business producing high-quality products and with an amazing brand, we were immediately impressed. After smelling some of their candles in various places locally, we decided to get in touch, and we’re so glad we did
We arranged a meeting with Janet the owner of Nantwich Candle Co and it turns out that she had been ‘following’ us too!
Janet began to make candles in her kitchen in 2020, initially for personal use to help with the stress of a high pressured job. She found that the aromas and the candle making process really helped and she soon became hooked. Eventually friends and family began to request candles and this is when Nantwich Candle Co was born. The product range has grown too to include diffusers and room fragrances and wax melts.
We adore a scented candle here at customer services but we are pretty particular (or fussy- you decide) when it comes to the scent. We love natural fragrances but are always looking for something a little different, a little bit special.
We sat together and sampled a good selection of fragrances which we can tell you was absolutely not ‘a hard day at the office’. Sitting around a table sampling one beautiful scent after another is pretty much our dream work day.
We eventually narrowed the selection down to our favourites which we think you will love too!
We have now launched our new gift set collection for 2026 with this gorgeous Keyring and Car Diffuser duo set.
With a choice of keyring in iron, aluminium, bronze, brass or copper nestled in a gift box along with a bamboo lid compact car diffuser in a scent of your choice, we think these are going to be a big hit.
The finished product is something we are really proud of and can’t wait for you to try.
And we’re not stopping there. Another gift set will be launching in the next couple of weeks, so it’s all go!
