Here is some information we think might be useful
All our forged pieces are treated with Beeswax and ‘Renaissance Wax’ to provide a protective and attractive finish. We recommend, intermittently, that you treat the metal with a beeswax or a similar natural polish, this will create a beautiful patina over time and keep the piece looking great. Simply apply some wax, wait 30 minutes for it to dry, and buff to a high shine.
No lacquers or paints are used to treat the metal, so over time, and especially if there is significant moisture in the air, rust spots may begin to appear. If this does happen gently remove them with fine wire wool and apply a coat wax as detailed above. Given a little care and attention your piece will last for generations!
How is it packaged and what’s the gift wrap like?
Keyrings come in a little cotton bag and shipped in a padded envelope.
Bookmarks are placed in a black branded card sleeve ready for gifting and shipped in a plain padded envelope.
Ring bowls and dishes are packed in a branded gift-box shipped in a padded envelope
Larger bowls are packed in a branded gift-box and then shipped in either a cardboard outer box or a cardboard wrap mailer
Other items, like fire tools are wrapped in paper and bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard tube or shipping bag.
Gift wrap is available for every item and we keep it rustic-style: thick light brown Kraft paper and Rafia or cotton string tried in a bow and gift tag; blank or ask us to write a message.
How is my order personalised?
All personalisation is done using letter and number punches and stamped using a hammer one my one into the metal. This is painstaking work, which is why we always check your order is correct before starting work
We’re not robots, but we do have highly trained eyes so the text may not always be perfectly straight! I’m sure you appreciate that this is the real beauty of real hand crafted work.
**We do usually spot spellink mistukes but cannot be held responsible if we stamp a message that does have typo’s or grammatical errors!**

What are the processing/making times?
This is the time we need to make your item, which varies from piece to piece; and must take into consideration how simple or bespoke a piece is, but our most popular bowls and bookmarks take around 3 days before shipping.
We have expedited shipping options, however, this does not expedite the making process but we will try our best to ship earlier if possible to help you meet any deadline you have.
Bookmarks & Keyrings – take around 2 or 3 days to make
Personalized bowls – small around 3 days and larger up to 5 days
Fusion bowls, larger and custom items – up to 10 days
If there is a specific date you require a product please let us know and where possible we will try and make it a priority.

Where’s my order and what are the delivery estimates?
The time it takes to make items varies but this will be stated before making. Shipping estimates are fairly realistic estimates.
Your tracking number, if you have one, should be found on your order dispatch email.

The pandemic has put strain on everyone, and as a small business, things do go wrong we try our best to look into things in between daily duties, but getting your order to you is a priority!
There are things you can do while you wait for our reply;
- Did you gave the correct address?
