As mentioned, we do not treat the symbols with chemical lacquers etc so they will rust over time, particularly if exposed to weather. The resulting rusty patina adds to the beauty of the product.

I recently purchased the Coach House Forge Metal Hanging Weather Symbols and I am absolutely thrilled with them! They are well-made, stylish, and perfect for any outdoor space.
I love that the symbols are made from untreated steel, which will naturally rust over time. This gives them a unique and rustic look that complements any outdoor feature. I hung ours from a tree in our garden and they look absolutely stunning.
I also appreciate that Coach House Forge takes care to smooth the symbol profiles, but warns that there may still be rough edges. This is something to be aware of if you have young children or pets, but it was not an issue with the items I received.
