These traditional, rustic pokers are hand made at our Forge in Cheshire, England

If you are looking for a unique and characterful fire prodder then look no further.

We offer 4 different styles of twist under the handle of the poker.
No 1 – Traditional barley twist
No 2 – Contemporary barley twist
No 3 – Reverse twist
No 4 – Fancy reverse twist

Each poker is forged with great care and patience from 12mm iron bar and features a tapered scroll design at the handle end. Several fundamental blacksmithing techniques are used making these pieces – tapering, scrolling, twisting and bending. The result is a charming and timeless poker that is sure to compliment your fireside.

Perfect for coal fires, wood burners or log burners.

Once forged the pokers are given several coats of Beeswax and Renaissance wax to create an attractive and protective patina.

Please note: Each poker will be slightly different-that’s the real beauty of hand-made work, however every one will feature the Coach House Forge makers mark.
