We make these bowls using our 19th Century, hand-operated Fly Press, we’re very proud of this beautiful machine that runs on muscle not electric. This Victorian piece of engineering mixed with modern adaptations results in a bowl that is perfectly smooth in shape and finish!
And, a light tap on the rim makes these bowls sublimely sing! ♩♫♪ Our workshop is very musical.

These bowls are flattened a little underneath for stability, making it just great for keeping trinkets, wallets, watches, and all the little things we carry around with us today.

Every bowl we make is treated with several coats of ‘Renaissance Wax’, which creates a protective and attractive finish, helping the real beauty of the metal shine through in the patina.
